About Wind Resource in Peru and Wind Maps The wind resource in Peru has good patterns along the coast. Mainly the predominant direction of wind is from South to North. The following link opens (in a new window) a PDF file which contains information about a preliminar wind map of Peru shown on page 3. You can see that best values of wind speeds are located on the coast.
