Our activities in the wind
energy field and renewable energy have their origins in projects of
research and technology development of small wind turbines, that took
place at Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, at Mechanical
Engineering Section of the Faculty of Sciences and Engineering
during the years 1997 to 2001.
The first small
wind turbine developed was based on the adaptation of a car alternator.
Coupling to the blades or rotor was done by means of a mechanical
transmission. This small windmill was installed on October of 1999.
The second
wind turbine represented an improvement, due to the design and
development of a Permanent Magnet
Generator with Neodymium magnets and a direct-drive coupling
to the blades or rotor of the wind turbine. The installation of this
turbine took place on March of 2001.
Laterly
our experience has been enriched with the conduction of more activities
in research and development of wind turbines and permanent magnet
generators, and the performing of consultancy, designing, development and
installation tasks in wind power projects including hybrid solar-wind
systems and the development of Wind Farm projects. We
can also perform engineering projects that you or your industry may
require. These projects can cover stages from the design, development,
construction to the installation of devices of mechanical and electric
type or based on permanent magnets; production tooling, among others. |
